Solo Mining

Just you versus Bitcoin. No pool, no sharing.

Solo Mining

You submit shares against the full network difficulty. The pool holds no stake in your reward — when your share happens to be the winning one, the pool relays the block and the entire coinbase goes to your address. No pool fee, no rules beyond what Bitcoin itself enforces.

Pool fee Solo mining is free on Blitz Pool. No cut, no threshold, no ledger — the coinbase output of a found block goes 100 % to your address.

When it fits

  • Keep 100 % of the block reward when you hit
  • Simplest mental model — you either find a block or you don't
  • No trust needed in payout mechanics; payout IS the coinbase

What to know

  • Variance is brutal at home-miner hashrates — months or years between finds
  • No steady income, no smoothing
  • Only rational when mining as a lottery ticket, not as yield

How to start

Point your miner at any Blitz Pool stratum port. Solo is the default: if your address isn't in a PPLNS window or a payout group, you're solo automatically.

Connection

Defaultstratum+tcp://blitzpool.yourdevice.ch:3333
High-difficulty (start diff 1M, for mining rentals)stratum+tcp://blitzpool.yourdevice.ch:3339
TLS — encrypted Stratum V1stratum+ssl://blitzpool.yourdevice.ch:6666

Stratum V2 is auto-negotiated on the same port — no separate endpoint.

Still not sure? PPLNS is the default sweet spot. Solo is for patient lottery players. Group is for friends that want to take on the network together.
